BATTERYGURU, NEW FEATURES FOR YOUR BATTERY HEALTH

The application developed by the company Xiam Technologies held by Qualcomm has just updated its Snapdragon BatteryGuru application and brings a new feature.

From now on, a “low consumption” mode will appear within the application and will allow you to extend the autonomy of your battery.

For information, the application is only compatible with devices equipped with a Snapdragon processor, of course, such as those in the following list (not exhaustive):

  • HTC: One, One Mini, One S, Sensation.
  • LG: Optimus G, Nexus 4, Lucid, Viper.
  • Motorola: Droid Razr Maxx, Droid Razr HD, Atrix HD.
  • Samsung: Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Google Edition, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S3
  • Sony: Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia ZL, Xperia Z, Xperia TL, Xperia SL, Xperia L, Xperia Play.

In terms of low-power operation, you can very easily stop or reduce certain activities on your device from a certain amount of remaining battery. For example, you can request that the application deactivate Wi-Fi as soon as your battery reaches 20% capacity.

Don’t worry about the options, everything can be configured, and the application is relatively complete. Among other things, you can choose to reduce the lighting of the screen, its standby, the updating of applications or even the WiFi and the options that consume your device’s battery.
