New York University is one of the most important universities located in the United States of America in the state of New York. Its main headquarters is located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan. It is a private research university, established in 1831, and the abbreviation of the university with which it is known is “N. Way. U, “It is one of the largest private, non-profit institutions, and it specializes in higher education, and the number of students enrolled in it exceeds fifty thousand students.

University departments and the most important schools in it:

1- New York University has ten years of school, college and department.

2- All departments of the university are located in six centers spread across the city.

3- The university gives its students the possibility to study abroad in Singapore, London, Paris, Florence, Prague, Berlin, Accra, and Shanghai. It was also announced that the door to study at the university in Buenos Aires and Tel Aviv was opened in 2008.

4- The university is divided into sixteen departments, colleges, and graduate schools. It also has six qualitative headquarters in the cities of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New York. It also has six educational facilities located outside the United States of America in Buenos Aires, Paris, London, Florence, Madrid, Prague, and Shanghai.

5- The Tisch Higher School of the Arts has a headquarters in Singapore, two other branches in Abu Dhabi that opened in 2010, and a branch in Tel Aviv that opened in 2008.

6- In 2008, the university was merged with New York Polytechnic University, and for the first time in three decades, New York University was awarded a graduate school of engineering and called it the Polytechnic Institute of New York University.

1- Thaddeus Mott:

He is an American citizen who participated in the American Civil War, in addition to his service in the nineteenth century with the Egyptian Khedive Army.

2. Julius Axelrod

He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1970, and a Master of Science degree from New York University in 1941.

3- Gertrude Elyon:

She was born in 1918 and died in 1999. She obtained a Master’s degree in Science in 1941 and won the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1988.

4- Clifford Shawl

He received his Doctor of Science degree in 1941, and won the Nobel Prize in Science in 1994.

5- Mohamed ElBaradei:

He obtained his doctorate in law in 1974, and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005.
6. John Woodruff

He received his bachelor’s degree in 1939 and his master’s degree in 1941, and won a gold medal at the Berlin Olympics in 1936.

7- Maurice Janowitz

A university professor and researcher in sociology, he holds a master’s degree in economics in 1948, and a master’s degree in 1950. He is the head of the Federal Reserve, or what is called the Central Bank.

8-John Patrick Shanley

He is a theater artist who won an Academy Award in 1987 and a Pulitzer and Tony in 2005

9- Ma Ying-jeou

He obtained a master’s degree in law in 1976 and is the current President of China.

10- Muhammad Al-Afasy:

He obtained a master’s degree in science in 1986, and served as Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait, Minister of Social Affairs, and Minister of Justice

11- Guillermo Andra

He obtained a master’s degree in law in 1963 and served as President of the Republic of Panama. .

12- Susan Kerr

She obtained her Ph.D. in 1987
